Welcome to ‘The Other Cinema,’ a website that sets out to explore all kinds of films. We’re not just about the cult classics and genre-based movies of a particular era. We’re here to shine a light on great cinema that’s often overlooked by mainstream audiences or forgotten by today’s viewers. Our journey will take us through avant-garde experiments, offbeat genre films, timeless classics, and movies that significantly impacted the cinematic world upon release or gained a cult following over time. These films, most of which hold a personal significance to me, are not here to be critiqued but to be celebrated and shared. We have some interviews/conversations with some high-profile filmmakers in the works, plus a series highlighting the great movie houses of the world called “Sacred Houses,” where we also encourage your suggestions and some great guest contributors all coming down the pipeline.
