ONE

Today is the first anniversary of ‘The Other Cinema.’ One hundred seventy-five films have been profiled so far and counting. I am grateful to all those who have found it interesting enough to look around. To all my subscribers—seeing your presence motivates me to continue posting. I hope you find the films intriguing enough to keep returning. This is just the tip!
One of my goals for the upcoming year is to raise sufficient funds to redesign the website and make it more user-friendly. This will enable a better viewing experience of the films and make searching and exploring the existing content easier. I also plan to do a series of (yet to be named) “conversations with filmmakers” with prominent folks working in the industry today. The first is already scheduled, so stay tuned for more updates!
In the meantime, on to year two!
